Since I was a child, I've always been fascinated with what lies beneath the water.  I'm amazed at the colorful and intricate life below the surface we don't normally see.

Until recently, most photographers like me were not able to capture these astounding scenes with cameras.  The advanced technology was made available only for National Geographic and the crew of Jacques Cousteau.

Underwater cameras have evolved and prices for them are now within reach.  It's why I have two of them wink

While mastering underwater photography is a relentless pursuit, I have fun creating scenes that I want to remember for the rest of my life.

Take a dip in the warm water and let's explore...

This artwork above called OCEANIC was one of the biggest underwater picture challenges I've encountered, but I really like the end result.

I was captivated by this stairway that led to an underwater paradise with many friends waiting.

The sharks loomed below, but there's more to the story.

Rays are simply majestic.
I raced to catch up with the school of fish.
I love how light interacts and pierces the water below to uncover something unexpected.
Are the birds walking on water? No, they're actually sitting on rocks which are concealed by the moving wave. But the fish is really smiling at you.
