Winter is a season that brings truly magnificent scenes.

As long as I brave the cold to go explore what's out there.

I must admit that it takes extraordinary weather conditions to get me out there, but luckily I had a series of days where the snow would blanket the earth, and the air would crystallize everything in frost.

Luckily for me, various creatures and critters came out to venture with me and I was ready to capture their movements.

The fun thing for me is that all of these pictures were taken within five miles of my house, so even if the road conditions were a little sketchy at times, I knew I wasn't too far from home.

So grab your coffee or hot chocolate, and enjoy these winter scenes in the warmth of your surroundings.

While winter can be difficult to motivate me to explore, it certainly has its rewards when I brave the elements.
