I'm excited to reveal the new Franklin Arts gallery (my new website).

The last rendition went live on January 1, 2011, so it's been awhile.  It was long overdue.

The initial concepts and wireframes started in March, but we've finally crossed the finish line. Let me wipe the sweat off my brow.  It's exciting and I hope you enjoy it.

Here's what you can count on:

  1. A brand new art release every week. Some visual stimulation I hope.

  2. 50% off a new title every week. It's a little crazy.

  3. A new blog post about art, photography, design, and some behind the scenes stuff.  Get cool ideas, learn a little (I hope), and laugh at my creative mistakes in this journey.

  4. Exclusive deals & coupons.  No more excuses to look at bare walls or art that doesn't move you.

  5. More monthly calendar wallpaper to keep your screen fresh.  And to know what day it is.

  6. Bigger visuals...see those tiny details.  Look at this on a big screen desktop--escape and enjoy.

  7. Resolve your art challenges quickly.  Use my picture height calculator, learn some tips to hang wall art, and even more useful art and design tools are in development.

Who I really need to thank...

If you need a website, I have a few secret weapons for you.

Jason Morehead, who comes from Red Bicycle, a stellar web design firm in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He can pretty much to do anything.  What's more is his ability to communicate it to you and understand what you need without even having to tell him.  He just knows what is required and if he doesn't think of it first, he will find a way to solve any problem.  Thanks Jason, I couldn't have done it without you.

Ryan Dee is a no-nonsense, imaginative designer who is willing to work with a visual artist--okay, a visual artist who is a perfectionist.  That is not easy, and I commend him on landing an awesome design for Franklin Arts.  Thank You Ryan!

My family has heard about this website endlessly...and now it can fade to the background (somewhat.)

A special thanks to all of you for your support throughout the years to take me to this next exciting chapter of Franklin Arts.
