Another year has passed.
Fortunately, I have some visual gems to remember it clearly.
2025 had its challenges, but I will always remember it fondly. From Oregon to Wisconsin to the Badlands and the Mediterranean, it was quite a blissful year of capturing beautiful images.
It is pure joy to show you my favorite pictures of 2025.
This is a place you've probably seen before. It is Manarola, Italy, and there's a reason it's one of the world's most photographed places. See the orange butterfly?
This is Spearfish Falls in South Dakota. It proved that the third time was a charm afterall! I finally captured the color change perfectly after the previous failed attempts.
During an early misty morning, I found this famous Japanese Maple in Oregon and spent 90 minutes or so catching every angle of this amazing tree. It was worth every minute. I came to Oregon for this very shot, and am so thankful conditions were perfect.
I loved the endless corridors in Italy with so many colors and textures. I could have walked around for days.
Multnomah Falls is so mesmerizing I've been there three times and it never disappoints, especially in the fall.
I woke up the first morning in Wisconsin to discover this ethereal scene in October of 2025.
Small holes in the cloudy sky allowed spears of light to hit the famous Crown Point in Oregon.
I took one last picture before leaving the epic Badlands National Park in South Dakota. Every time I see a butterfly, I see my mom.
This was a picture I became obsessed with and I made my friend wait patiently until I got it just right at Multnomah Falls.
There are some pictures that just speak to me and I'm not sure why. This is one of them. It has a reserved, subtle, and moody feel to it.
