Birds have become my best friends out in the field.

I can find an alluring scene only to realize that something is missing until a bird enters the picture to complete it.

Sometimes, birds add a little spice to the image, and time and time again, they become my favorite ingredients to my artwork.

Whether intentional or not, birds have me convinced that they almost always make a picture better and somehow more enticing in a scene.

Okay, so you get the gist--I love birds.  Let me show you why.

Geese on Fall Foliage Lake

The scene was stunning already, but the geese add even more to one of my favorite fall images.
Seagull flies at Sunrise in Cabo
On of my latest releases, called OUTCAST, gives an exciting element to this breathtaking sunrise in Cabo San Lucas.
Ducks Swimming in Winter Stream
Buy
An early snowfall mixes with autumn colors and the ducks complete the picture.
I was captivated by the intricate layers in this morning scene and the birds certainly puts the final punctuation mark on this artwork.
A dreamy sunrise combined with a flyover gives it even more dramatic impact.
Bird on Stomp Watching Sunrise

A bird pauses to watch this amazing sunrise.
Chicken in front of Wailua Falls in Kauai
Buy
Let's not forget about the chickens. If you ever go to Kauai, they are running all over and this one stands guard in front of Wailua Falls.
Sunset in Cabo with Birds Flying
Buy
The sun lowers below the horizon and creates these fantastic bird silhouettes.
Sunset in Costa Rica
Buy
The beautiful setting sun in Costa Rica is enjoyed while the birds soar in the wind.
I wanted to capture this beautiful scene with the birds on the pier and make this sunrise more abstract.

Birds have also triggered my birdhouse picture obsession!
