It was time to explore the expansive views of Colorado in autumn.

It was time to build some spectacular Colorado panoramas.

Over the course of five days, I attempted to cover as much territory across Colorado as time would allow, and it was an amazing sight to see all of the fall foliage erupt around me.

I knew that I would encounter many different vistas which would require multiple pictures stitched together (these are called panoramas).  This is necessary to take in the full view and transform an otherwise normal perspective into an immersive experience.

So have a seat, put down your dinky phone screen, and view these on a larger monitor to take in the views.  Enjoy.

(I won't judge you if you must use your phone. Just turn it sideways at least ;-)

The earth shows it's amazing rugged landscape here at Owl Creek Pass. I just love how that one lonely orangey red Aspen on the right is begging for attention among the green and gold.

This scene was completely unexpected. From a high perspective, the patchy clouds filtered light patterns on the landscape to reveal the beautiful colors in light and shadow. Just imagine the view from that house on the hill.

The best part about exploring the back roads of Colorado is that you never knew what was around the next bend. Well...this of course!
Owl Creek Pass with Colorful Aspen Trees

This is one of my absolute favorite scenes from fall in Colorado at Owl Creek Pass. Unfortunately, a large family decided to get portraits right in front of these trees. I spent a couple of hours waiting for them to depart. Totally worth it.

I can't wait for the next fall trip to explore even more scenes in Colorado to make more panorama pictures!
