I find something magical about pathways.

Whether they are docks, roads, streams, stairs, or piers, I love the way they invite you to step inside the picture.  I strive to create art and imagery that pull you in for a fully immersive experience.

Still today, VOW is one of my favorite photographs as the light and mood was like a movie.  Ironically, I ditched my dream for reality that was dream-like.  I was no longer groggy and tired.  The situation unraveling before me gave me sparks of immense energy.

Scripps Pier towered above me, adding to the drama of this path.

The morning light highlighted the fog and fall colors in front of me.
It's a walk you'd want to take any day.
One of my favorite, well-kept secrets in South Dakota, Whitlock Bay.
I wanted to create a perfectly symmetrical path with a mysterious subject at the very end of the corridor.
I was blown away by how the waves and light interacted with this path that used to be something more.
